Service was kind of slow. People seated after us got drinks and food before us.

I had a eagle burger and a beer with deep fried green beans(healthy, right?). Burger was just right. Service was fantastic. Very friendly very nice!!! Prices reasonable. Hope to swing in again sometime. Highly recommend this place!!

Great food . Dropped a star because couldn't get dressing for a salad for 15 minutes . Waitress was hanging with the locals but that's ok .

Honestly, for the price, I was expecting hand cut fries and a juicy and delicious sandwich, but I got mediocre. It fed me that is about it. Least amount of anything put into food with the max price. Huge pieces of steak in the salad and huge pieces of veggies, I mean, they could have cut it up.

Greasy food, very dirty place, needs a clean up, you get an overwhelming smell of urine coming in the front door. Would love to come here more but needs some management.

We've been here a few times. The food is great. Ribs second to none and the fish and chips eccellent. Great for families and couples. Great service.

While going on a sporadic road trip to the kancamagus we've noticed no place was open to eat. We came across Almost There and tried to give them a call. The only have one line, so if at first you don't succeed try again, or just go there. They are open. The gentleman who went by cowboy came out with our drinks right away and even gave our dog a treat. He was so sweet. The food was fresh and homemade. The steak tips he said were marinated for 48 hours and were just amazing. The homemade garlic potatoes were out of this world. The cheese steak was incredible and I'll probably never find another like that again. Overall I recommend this place to everyone. And we do plan on coming back.

Friendly service, drinks were good, good menu.

Stopped on the way home from an awful camper buying experience and it turned our day right around. Great waitresses, fast service, and best lobster rolls we ever had. And for under $20! French fries were delicious too. We will definitely be back!! Highly recommend!

Food. Is always good, famous for the burgers. An "in town go to place" where folks from away are always welcome. No "side eye glances" just WELCOME! Cool place, good people on both sides of the bar. GREAT music Friday from 5-8. FREE!

Let me tell you! I don’t know why this place is not five star. I guess if you let the bar decor scare you off then sure. But do yourself a favor and stop here. The Bloody Mary spicy is the best around. Not all the frilly stuff just great flavor. The burger is out of this world and I know why I saw in the paper it’s the best around. I have not had a burger that good in years with this new burger revolution. The burger was cooked to order, fresh, and hot. The outer crispy crust on the burger was out of this world. The bun was toasted to perfection for a explosion on flavor. I will be back very soon to get another Bloody Mary and try the chicken wings. Kudos to almost there for delivering such great bar comfort food!

The margaritas are perfection! Haddock and Shrimp basket was delicious! I had the bacon cheeseburger and it was cooked perfectly!! The fries are crispy!!!

Wait staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. Had small kids and they hooked them up with coloring and even put a kid movie on the TV for them. Food was very good as well.

Quaint Local Pub & Grill, cosy and fill with laughter and enthusiasm shown on patron’ faces as they watch their favourite team playing Football 🏈. We just arrived after having driven thru the Kanc and stopping for our lunch @ 5pm

Stopped here on out way back from the White Mountains. I was a bit thrown off by the bar and pool table, wasn't expecting to be happy with any if the food. To my surprise, we loved it! Food was great. Service was awesome, portions were nice and price, very reasonable. Very much worth a visit

We stopped by the Almost There Restaurant on the way to our resort for the weekend and we were not disappointed! They were pretty busy when we got there, and the parking was limited, but we were seated right away. Our server was very kind and she brought us our drinks really quickly. Soon after, our food followed. We were greeted by a few staff members, and they all were quite pleasant and wanted to make sure everything was great, and it was. The portions were great! My husband ordered a turkey club and it took up the entire plate. My daughter and I shared an entire pepperoni pizza and it was so good. Don't let the "bar" sway you from dining here with your family because they have rooms to dine in that are away from the bar. We look forward to trying the food again in the summer.

Nice family restaurant. They're chili was absolutely delicious, and very meaty. All the servers worked together nobody was a signed to a section.

It was convenient and solid food

The servers were great! I loved that it didn't matter whose table they were supposed to be the server of...they all asked each time they came out if we needed anything! I don't see that when I am out. The food was just as good as the servers! I will be back

This is one of my favorite places in the North Conway area. The fried Haddock is out of this world. The onion rings and sweet potato fries are great. Bar atmosphere but kid friendly as well. The wait staff are always friendly and accommodating.

I have no idea why this place has more than one star. It smells of cigarettes, booze, and sadness. The waitress was snippy, the food was absolutely horrid and we will NEVER be back.

Empty.. and food was ugh.. but drinks were great. Liven the place up clean it up a little. I will be back next year. Will try again. Hopefully a better review.

I've eaten here twice. The steak tips are amazing. They offer a few combination plates of steak tips with other things like chicken fingers or fish. They were not great, the steam tips however will keep me going back. The sides are not fantastic. But again the steak tips are amazing. Both times I have been there they have also had specials. Mac and cheese one night and cheeseburger chowder another. They were both awesome. So bottom line. Go there for specials and steak tips.

Nothing fancy. Just a good honest bar. Great music, friendly atmosphere, a pool table and darts board, a couple of decent beers on tap and home made food. Will come again. And the burger really was cooked medium, which is so unusual as everywhere overdoes burgers!

It's been at least 5 years since I stopped here and I live locally. The cheddar cheeseburger was cooked excellent and had a good char broiled taste. Had a draft beer that was cold and fresh. It was that way 5 years ago too. Good job, the restroom was very clean too. No mess no smell. I like that.

Great food. Hard to find a seat in the bar part of the restaurant do to locals rush hour.....LOL 😁 for a couple hours just about every night. They are not loud. I have eaten close to everything they serve. They even cook red meat perfectly I have been to many restaurants that do not know how to make a medium well burger or steak medium well.... Almost There does. Which means alot to me anyway. The waitstaff here are extremely friendly and quick. Keep up the great work guy!!! You keep me coming back...

Awesome pub grub and great beers too! Great stop after a tough day of hiking. The only complaint I have is they say they are dog friendly but they only allow dogs to be tied up outside the deck fence.

Awesome food, friendly atmosphere! Probably the best burger I've ever had, tasted like it was cooked on a backyard grill by someone who really knows what they're doing.

Great food ok prices. Super friendly staff and waiters. Prices could be adjusted witch would make a huge difference.

Very good and staff was awesome! Lived close to it and music kept us up but I never tried a meal. Baked haddock was yummy. All the meals looked yummy!

Wait till you get there.... Almost is not good enough. Slow service. Never got a second beer before done with food. Kids Mac and cheese $8 for less than one cup and about 10 fries. Steak sandwich could have used more steak. Also over charged for root beer, but corrected. They did bring water for our dog who was able to sit on the other side of the fence.

This place has awesome food, service, menu options, and reasonable prices. The location is convenient too. The fish and chips is haddock, not cod like a lot of other places. It was cooked perfectly and they give you a lot. We'll be stopping here again next time we go to Conway.

Was able to fall into this place on a Thursday for a late lunch after being in the Tamworth area for over 10 years haven't been here in a while it is a true treasure in this area awesome wait staff the locals are by far the most friendliest people you will ever meet in New England the food was top grade comfort food burgers steak fajita with a chili sauce the clam chowder and chili was outstanding just very comfortable place to be. It also has entertainment and pool tables as well as a bar but again even in the summer this place is packed with outside seating right on Route 16 you might not think you would stop in but I was pleasantly surprised will definitely be back
